Part of an ongoing exploration of using the long-stitch to create rigid page book works incorporating physical artifacts and ephemera, Sense of Wonder uses text from Rachel Carson’s essay The Sense of Wonder, originally published in Women’s Home Companion in July 1956 under the title Help Your Child to Wonder.
There is something infinitely healing in the repeated refrains of nature the assurance that dawn comes after night and spring after winter.
